PM often work as bridge between sponsor , stakeholder and delivery , case like should need specific
- To well communicate gaps to sponsor first step.
- Understand "why two different observations to one project ?"
- Risk audit may be an option depending on Stage of project.
- Crash or Fast may result further delivery risks which need to be carefully assessed including assumptions subject to sponsor approval.
- So ( C ) is must , ( D ) to evaluate. Saving Changes...
i found answer said ,c is the right answer & you could choose - revise the communication plan also if it available in choices as the sponsor information might be old & not updated ( by other men the project was on track then backwardness happened & he didn't know tell now cause of communication gap) but as it is not in choices then we choose correcting the sponsor's point of view first to keep honest communication as Sponsor consider high interest & power stakeholder & all his information has to be updated
but i want to make sure from you as this source of questions i discovered 2 wrong question on it :( Saving Changes...
The answer is C, the most important start is with informing the sponsor then start Risk Audit to get more accurate information about the project. Saving Changes...
I think all the decision shall be taken first C then D then A and B.
Two months can be catches easily with fast track or crash the schedule and increase the working hours ... Saving Changes...

Answer should be C as the first step is to communicate the sponsor as the assumption which I read through th question is the sponsor doesn't know the delay and later it would be surprise for the sponsor... and for fast tracking there would be risk/cost/timelines change which needs approval... Very effective discussion and the answer is C (Initially, I was confused either C or D). Firstly, inform the sponsor your findings and secondly, identify root causes. Saving Changes...
