81-The Sponsor of project informed the project manager who just joined the project that project is on schedule and budget as well as risks are handles timely and effectively, The project manager reviewed the reports and found that the project is two month behind schedule what is the best decision can the new project manager take?
A- Fast track or crash the schedule.
B- Go ahead and don’t care about the time.
C- Inform the Sponsor.
D- Start risk audit.

Request the sponsor to share more data about 'Project on schedule and budget' and inform him that he finds the information by sponsor is different from what he/had had arrived at the available data. May be this is a gap due to handover between former PM and sponsor.

Also review the risk data to know the reality

Before we go ahead with Risk Audit , we should first inform the project sponsor about the delay and then details for the delay need to be analyzed .

My answer is D start risk audit with the project team members as part of investigation and substantial vlaim that the project is behind schedule then inform the sponsor at least you have info to back such claims
