I think, in addition to above communication, influencing and effective decision making are very useful essential interpersonal skills.
I would say Communications, clearly.
That would facilitate thing like team building.
Then there is competency in all the knowledge areas.

I agree that Communications is number one. Not only communicating, but also effectively communicating. This means using the right communication tool for each person.
Organization is number two. Organization means following the processes in place which hopefully closely aligns with the PMI knowledge areas.
