New to a small company and we do not have a Master Scheduler - I'd like to find an online course to brush up on my Microsoft Project skills. Thanks!

Hey Dayna. Did you check the Microsoft Project User Group? They usually have such resources. You might also have a chapter close by that could help you.

Dayna - four letters for you ..... MPUG as Stéphane already suggested. Buy a subscription, its worth it. Have fun!

Dayna -

To complement the MPUG participation recommendation, I'd suggest investing in a good book such as Eric Uyttewaal's Forecast Scheduling with Microsoft Project.

Dayna,

MS Projects comes with some excellent project templates that you can use to create your project. Just jump in and experiment with it. It's not that hard to use.

I am currently utilizing Lynda.com. Its a monthly subscription to tutorials and lessons for an assortment of programs. I have the Project software videos bookmarked. I decided to freshen up my Excel skills, and I thought I was pretty competent in Excel, to begin with, and I am pretty amazed by how much I am learning from these lessons. I don't work for them, so this is not a paid endorsement. I particularly like downloading the exercise files and actually getting my hands dirty as the video plays. It helps solidify the lessons. I learn best by doing.
