What are the frequent errors in the elaboration of contracts? What can a PM do to improve this management considering that often the legal terms or of a certain environment are not his/her specialty?

Another common error, which can have significant schedule and financial implications, is subcontracting pieces of the work to a third-party, but not having the "flow down" or "pass through" terms from the main contract in your contract with your subK. This leaves the main contract holder (you) responsible for filling the gap, or renegotiating your subK's contract post-signature.

If that has happened to me, but good at least in those cases learned lessons have been applied and with appropriate clauses could be improved in the following contracts.
Thank you

PM provide information to contract manager related to project, knowledge area of procurement management comes after risk management purposely. PM has to finalize the plan regarding risk identified and contract term can be finalized after risk management. PM should not sit back but remain on watch out and remain alert what happening even in once contract for procurement is being finalized.
