How do some members add so many network contacts every day?

Is there any way to know "new members today" who joined this website? I've noticed some of our esteemed colleagues here seem to add new connections at an alarming rate per day. Actually only very few seem to achieve this, and not surprisingly they appear in the top 10 list for network connections. Unless they are sitting and clicking "connect" all day long, which I doubt, how do they find so many new connections every day?

Besides the People page mentioned by Markus, you can also use the Connections page, which has Featured People, and the Build Your Network page.

My local chapter does have an automatic connect. If people turn this on, they are automatically added to each other's networks. Which is good because you want to be connected to local members.
Other than that, I just request connections in discussion groups and on webinars.

If this were more like facebook, where your connections get notified when you post something, and I was actively working on a book, I'd worry more about connections. As it is, for now I'm good with the occasional blog post. I did turn on automatic connect for my local chapter.

Now I'm curious. Are push notifications an option? I m ight have to figure that out for my next blog post.

I've only found a pull notification, Aarom, by going to the Connections page:
https://www.projectmanagement.com/community/

The list on the left is made up of your connections' activities.

Adding new connections in a short time is not important. You can do this gradually. It takes time. However, there are some tricks to make it short. For instance, you can share your profile link, every single time you attend an online course/ webinar on the website.

It would also be nice to only click one on the "connect" button once.
