Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Senior member of the Business Systems Analysis and Control team in the Business Services Group.
- Leads implementation of system and process initiatives.
- Responsible for coordinating business activities on major Information Technology projects.
- Work as the liaison between client Business Partners, IT, and vendors to insure appropriate resources are engaged in all project details.
- Develops documentation, monitors and reports project status, manages project risk through mitigation assessment, planning techniques, and development of contingency plans.
- Effectively assists in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.
- Coordinates with project stakeholders to gather input and feedback and advises senior business leadership on project status.
- Works on technical, operational, exception item management, audit, regulatory, risk management, and control oriented projects.
- Coordination and oversight of system testing activities for functional and security components.
- Participates in the development of business requirements, process documents, testing and training materials, and implementation strategy.
- Responsible for documentation of system problems, issues, resolutions, and recommendations for improvements.
- Advises customers on alternatives to target business needs and opportunities.
- Tracks project spending to budget.
- Manages additional business resources assigned to projects.
- Partner with IT project management to provide change management consulting and assesses impact of project scope, timeline, and implementation plans.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Business Systems or related field.
- MBA degree preferred.
- Seven to ten years of project management, business analysis, presentation, and systems related experience preferred.
- PMI Certification a plus.
- Knowledge and experience working with banking and brokerage technology applications in an ownership or development role preferred.
- Ability to perform business analysis, manage projects, and effectively present information to management, vendors, and business partners.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office product suite including Access Databases, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, quality management, interpersonal, and organization skills.
- The selected candidate will be highly self-motivated with proven capability to meet project milestones.
