I managed a team of about 10 people for 7 months. Did resource planning, project assignment etc. for each individual on the team. It wasn't for any specific project but kind of a team leadership position.
It was a very valuable experience in my career. Is there any way I can put this on the PMP application? Saving Changes...

You can definitely account for all this experience within the PMI application. As long as the work is related to projects (in general), you have no issues. Saving Changes...
You can include those 7 months as part of the 36 months required for certification. You don't need a "project manager" title -- just the actual experience with PM tasks and roles. Saving Changes...
