Project Management VS IT Project Management

Actually , i want to know what is the Diifrent between "IT Project Management" and "Project Management" before i registere in any course of them , becasue my company assigned me as a Project Manager for new project (my company is an ERP System Provider), so i want a help to execute this project .

Regarding the difference between IT Project Management and Project Management... Project management is a discipline and it can be applied to many different kinds of domains such as IT, construction, sales, marketing, product development, research, etc. For those new to project management, it is well worth getting both basic project management training as well as IT project management training. There are many excellent project management and IT project management courses that are even offered as a set.
