Regarding how to fight internal resistance and persuade team members to use new PM software tools... More and more PMOs are addressing this with incentive compensation. You might try or suggest to your client that they consider having some or perhaps all of the PM annual bonus paid on continuous improvement as measured by recommending, leading, and participating in improvement activities. Those that care, lead, and add value, get a bit of what they deserve. Those that don't care and aren't part of the program, get a bit of what they deserve. At the end of the day, people do what they want to do and what they have to do. It is up to management to foster the desired culture; it rarely happens by luck. Great post, Vadim.
