Help on Certification

Hi , I saw this site to be an excellent repository for most of the PMO related office stuff.
I had one question to be asked, hope i get suggestions. I am working in the PMO office. Can you please suggest me the certifications available for this. Is there any certifications for beginners in this area of PMO, or anythign related to project tracking. Please help me

Dear Maxim,

Regarding PMO Certifications... PMI does not have a specific "PMO" certification, but they do offer the following certifications and credentials:

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Program Manager

OPM3 Product Suite

Depending upon what country you are in, there are other project management associations and institutes, such as the Australian Institute of Project Management, that offer PMO accreditation and credentialing programs. Additionally, there are numerous vendor educational offerings, many of which provide some kind of completion certificate. Good luck.
