KPIs are key performance indicators. They are driven and linked to a companies strategy or a department's goals. For example a company may have decided to provide the best customer service. Each department may define what is important to delivery the best service and we identify IT requirements/.services that must be available to meet that requirement. (People, Process and technology components). The output from these discussions assist in the development of KPIs.. Outsourcing companies use KPIs to measure the performance of the services that they are providing.
