Perhaps something you could have done a lot better? Maybe it was a knowledge area that you neglected? Maybe it was a stakeholder or team member that you just didn't like and so you treated them differently than others? Any regrets, confessions, wishes? Saving Changes...
I always at the end find lots of improvement opportunities. It is natural to find more as the project move forward. However, Identifying the risks is one of those you will probably wish to had done better.
So true Abolfazl, risk is one of those things that keeps eating and eating at you, during and after the project. I have yet to be on a project where after it closed, there wasn't a risk (even though small) that was missed. It would be hard to get 100% of risks identified especially on large projects. I wish to run faster than my project stakeholders when things go wrong.....(hehehehe)
haha nice one Sergio, we should bring our Nike's to work just in case. I had one stakeholder that was a scary individual, 6"5, 250 pounds, a black belt at Judo, always had a mean look on his face, and rarely spoke, just stared at you. No one wanted to deal with this guy. Turns out he was a really nice guy, his hobby was gardening, and when I asked him why did he look annoyed or unhappy most of the time, he said "that's me being happy, you should see me when I'm annoyed!" I should have killed this one project sooner than I did. The project was not successfully progressing except in the area of spending its budget. Everyone was so excited about the potential that we lost sight of the obvious...the project was going to fail. Finally, I had to recommend ending the project. It felt awful because the project went on longer than it should.

That's a hard one Paul, especially when the project fails, but at least you pulled the plug before it created more damage and financial loss. Thanks for your honesty.

I wish spending (even) more time doing business analysis. I have delegated the verification of the development acceptance on the customer, e.g. it is important to know what is being implemented (in detail). Knowing all is not an easy task and many would defend not needed but i'm concluding at the end of the project that i, the project manager, should know more about the product/service business, functional and technical requisites.
