Hi All, I wanted to know was there any incidents in your carrier, where you have suffered with lack of self esteem. Reason why I am asking is, as PM, you should be self motivator and self driven which will enable you to be as good leader. But what will happen if leader has issues. I think project managers are just like other people and have self-esteem issues from time to time. It's normal especially if you are taking on a new task or stretching your "comfort zone" by growing either professionally or personally. I read a great article by Brian Tracey a while back that helps me to deal with self-esteem issues. It's titled "Forging your Self-Confidence". Search the web for it and read it. I think it will help. In my case, I don't know how other people seem to judge others as lacking in self-esteem if they are humble sounding or passive speaker. It maybe how you were raised, or culture thing. Saving Changes...
