Does anyone have a good example of the difference between scope and deliverables? I know what PMBOK's definitions are but what do you use as the distinction?

Does this work for you..? Scope is the work, broken down, that is required to achieve the goal of the project. Deliverables are tangible and measurable outcomes that must be produced to successfully complete the project.

Good questions..! Many folks struggle with the terms.

Scope: everything that needs to happen in order to create the deliverable
Deliverable: something that is created and is of value to the customer

The scope is what we aimed at, Deliverable the value we are providing after the timeboxed
