I've been asked to look at schedule analysis tools compatible with Project Online/Professional 2016. Requirements are a bit vague at the moment but DCMA14 scheduling standards are a starting point.
A bit of googling has given me Sensei Schedule Analyzer, DCMA Schedule Analyzer, Steelray and Acumen Fuse.
Has anyone used these, or any other tools? Can you let me know of any strengths or weaknesses? Anything in particular I should look for or any wisdom you can share?

I don't use any of these tools but looking at the DCMA14 Scheduling standards, the 14 things to look out for in a schedule are covered in all of these. Currently Most PMs tend to do these manually using MS Project. Here is a website that shows the features of each tool http://www.projectcontrolsonline.com/Tools/ You could build some additional requirements apart from the 14 Point check using this website.

Many tool will do an analysis of schedule. some more efficient than other. I have use Oracle Risk Analysis and Acument Fuse. At the time Acumen Fuse was fast and simple. The other was slow.
In the last few years the market evolved.New Player improvement.

Thanks Vincent, I'll add RiskyProject to my list of products to evaluate. I'm not sure we need the risk register functionality - we use Project Online so the risk register is a Sharepoint list -- but it certainly looks sophisticated. Saving Changes...

We're using Project Online and this has some good resource analysis tools built in. I've also being playing around a bit with PowerBI and have found there are also some great dashboard style reports with great analytics around resourcing, free for download. I just wish our PMs all used the resource function properly so we could make use of the data!
