I have tried to calculate the schedule variance % with the planned start date, Planned end date,Actual start date and Actual end date in Excel. I have tried below method

=NETWORKDAYS(Planned End Date, Planned Start Date)

=IF(Actual End Date="",0,IF(Actual End Date = Planned End Date,0,IF(Actual End DatePlanned End Date,NETWORKDAYS(Actual End Date,Planned End Date)-1,NETWORKDAYS (Actual End Dat,Planned End Date))))

IF(NOT(Actual Schedule=0),(Actual Schedule/Delay%),0)

Sajish,

How do you plan to account for none working days? Or it is a choice to not consider them?

So, what is your question? It seems you need to consider the weekends and holidays as well.

Please note that NETWORKDAYS should have the start date as the first argument, and the end date, as the second argument. Not the other way around.

You can optionally add a third argument identifying a range of dates to be excluded from the count (i.e. holidays).
