The data flow diagrams for each of the 49 process areas (in PMBOK 6, or 47 processes for PMBOK 5) is the best way to see how each process is interconnected.

The way to connect knowledge areas and processes inside them is thanks the project life cycle you use. Deciding the project life cycle you will use (model and process) is strategic. You can find more inside the new PMBOK GUide. Integration chapter could help you to understand the big picture and could be consider a glue between knowledge ares BUT is will not help to connect them. All depends on your project life cycle.

Prakash,

Apart from the comments as given by seniors above, I wish to add that the PMBOK table may provide info you looking for BUT do try to understand why each of the management processes are interconnected as guided by PMBOK. Studying by memorise the Table is not giving any added value to your understanding. Vincent has the point - The important thing is to understand why they connect.

I concur with the all comments here.

My understanding is that the knowledge areas are about knowledge on project management topics, while process groups seek to apply that knowledge. They provide a logical sequence of steps within the knowledge area.
