I have seen hundred thousand people hold PMP certificates that's great but I would like to ask all of them
Why did you choose PMP certificates ? why not other certificates ? what benefit have you got?
have you salary increased ?
I believe that all of them have different need and different vision Saving Changes...

The "salary increased" argument to sell certifications is a fallacy. Or at least is not the complete truth because people that said that do not take into account the context most of the time. In my personal case each time I decide to spend time and effort (two things you can not buy so are the most valuable to me) in getting a certification I make my own estimation about future market demands. Because it is an estimation then it has an inherent error I accept. For my, any other argument has no sense.

I am try to get PMP for personnel development as you my know PMP conclude wide knowledge areas
If you are a project manager and looking for the best certification in market, what would you do? Google....isn't it. Well try this search "Best project management certifications" and you will end up with sites like these and many more:
all of them says that PMP is the best one and is highest paid.
Moreover, organizations looking for PMs have the certifications mentioned along with experience. If you don't have one than probably it will get rejected by a computer in very initial stages.
This does not mean that experience doesn't count or a certification will get you a job but it does mean that your chances of getting an interview are brighter.

Wish for you all the best, would you tell me have PMP add value to your process?
Personally I went with PMP/PMI for certifications because of familiarity. There are plenty others like you said but I was not inclined to invest in something that I wasn't sure would provide any type of lucrative return. You have to invest a lot of time and effort and being in the Army I have observed a lot of people devote time and effort that they can not get back into a certification or education track that held no benefit for them. I know PMI certifications are highly regarded in Northern Virginia so it makes sense for me BUT always stay up to date on what companies are looking for in regards to credentials. Saving Changes...

The reason I took PMP was because, I wanted to learn more about the project management processes, since I was managing several projects over these years. Also, PMP certification highlights the knowledge, competence and proficiency in project management practice. Saving Changes...
Reasons for PM certifications are likely different from on region to the next. Current reasons are likely different than twenty years ago! Saving Changes...

I agreed that PMP is highly regarded in the industry. In many of the project management job postings, PMP is preferred or even requirement especially for more a senior role. It's almost a benchmark an employer would use to filter out qualified vs non-qualified candidates, and it's becoming a baseline. Saving Changes...
