I'm looking for suggestions on how to establish a user community? These folks are end users, and nothing like this has been discussed with them. There is a pretty high turn over rate, so establishing SMEs and a user group with a FAQ list seems like a useful thing but I am looking for more specific/concrete ways to get them moving towards this thought process. Appreciate your help! Saving Changes...

I would suggest you organize around business processes or applications. You might start by broaching the concept with management to brief them on the benefits to the organization user groups could bring; better alignment, operational efficiency, improved morale, etc. Then perhaps a user survey that would create some baseline data related to current satisfaction, outstanding issues, etc. Next the creation of a charter and publishing of the survey results. Finally, the announcement and formation of the groups and kick-off sessions. Saving Changes...
