IT Deployment Workforce Management

I work with a deployment firm involved primarily with large client WAN/LAN conversions. Some of our projects have thousands of locations. We currently do not use any "standardized" workforce scheduling tools, but rely heavily on giant magnetic boards to keep track of and manage our 500+ workforce in the field.
Can anyone recommend a software that would eliminate this "magnet board" and still allow for great flexibility?
