Hi, would just like to ask if how many PDUs do I earn in reading the book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey? Does it depend on how many hours that I will spend on reading and understanding the book? How do I map it on to the PMI Talent Triangle? Thanks for the help. Saving Changes...
I agree with one hour , one PDU. But shouldn't the book be about project management!! I don't know if the book mentioned (which is a great read) fits the talent triangle.

I totally agree with Najam. It would be great to have an official list with the PDU's that can be reported for a particular book. I see two main benefits:
1 - Everyone will have the same reward for reading it.
2 - It would be clear it the book fits with the talent triangle.
Other benefits might be to serve as a reference for project practitioners, it could be used to rate the different books among PMI members, it could also be used to help somebody to look for references on a specific topic, etc.
Thanks everyone for the advise. Will just use webinar for my PDUs for the meantime as there are no scheduled seminars available yet from my local chapter. Happy new year!! Saving Changes...

Still can't wrap my head around 1 hour reading = 1 PDU. I'm a slow reader ;-)
I had the same thought! I am actually listening to a book now so that is easy to figure out the 1 hr = 1 PDU calculation.

But if I listen to the book at 125% or 150% of the regular speed, as I usually do, it will be less PDUs!?!
