How project managers must behave to fully grasp team members in order to successfully achieve projects?

We all know that without a full acceptance of the teamwork to the project, its principles and goals and the means defined to achieve them, the only outcome to any project whatsoever is fiasco.How to deal with team members to make them adhere to the project?

Find out what motivates your team members and help them to achieve their goals.

You'll never have more influence over anyone then the person you help achieve what is most important to them.

Great question, Cheikh!
Motivational, Inspirational leadership is critical for project success. I'm presenting a session on this topic at PMI's EMEA Congress at Dublin in May this year. It is titled, "Mi7: Motivate, Inspire with Seven Leadership Tips for Project Success."
Several chapters of my recent book, "Say YES to Project Success" were also dedicated to this topic.
I completely agree with several of the replies here, specifically those by Kiron Bondale, Ramu Kaibni, and Anish.
In my experience, these techniques work the best:
1. Be the "CEO" on your project: Develop a big picture vision, create an aspirational tagline, and constantly communicate to your team.
2. Be proactive in handling cultural diversity in your team.
3. Set clear standards for ethical behavior and professional conduct. Be a role model for these standards.
4. Improve teamwork and generate buy-in by involving team members in activities such as developing the WBS, Identifying Risks, Estimation, etc.
5. Rather than indulge in fault-finding and constant criticism, make a habit of catching people doing things right, and being generous in praise.
6. Celebrate each team success, however small.
7. Be a servant leader, and help team members out wherever applicable.
Thare are several other techniques, but these could be a good starting point.

Karthik’s point on "Servant Leadership" I believe is the key – and within that, "Empathy" (in my opinion) should be the most important as it is the enabler and/or multiplier for all other skills. A leader who is self-focused and ignores the needs of others can give an award-winning motivational speech and do all the right things, but might as well be speaking to a wall if "Empathy" is not represented and modeled as their base.

Empathy is a form of understanding,
Understanding is a form of Knowledge,
And this one we all know – Knowledge drives projects.
Therefore, empathy is valuable not just to the nature of relationships, but to the nature of projects.
