What are the benefits of having both of these or just one?

I hear through the grapevines that its smart to do the CSM first, then the PMI-ACP? Or perhaps just to do the PMI-ACP.

Anyone thoughts on these?

I agree with Kiron. We are going through a similar transition in our organization. CSM was our shorter term goal so that team members can get some education and knowledge in SCRUM and start using some of those principles to get a better experience in Agile and then go for ACP.
CSM meets your basic needs but ACP has more value and beneficial.

Scrum is an Agile framework. If you go for PMI-ACP, you will eventually get knowledge about Scrum, so it always better to go for PMI-ACP. However, if you only want to focus on Scrum, then you can also select CSM.
