Comment on the PMI Talent Triangle, what interest you most?

It interests me to know how they came up with the 8 PDU's for each of the triangle corners.

Rami, I have run calculations and I believe it came from Fibonacci sequence levels based on golden ratio of 1.618.
It is easy to maintain those 35 as min. 8 for each one and the rest 11 can be applied on any one but my concern is more on the GIVING BACK.

You can get 60 PDU’s from Education. As for giving back, I think there was a concern earlier as to why only 8 PDU’s for all 3 years for working as a practitioner. I believe this should be 15, yet it is not a concern for me and I am sure PMI has their rationale behind those numbers.

That there is someway of completing the points that i need to keep up my PMP . that's all I care about.

Agree PDU is prime motive however to me giving holistic learning opportunities as well.

The "giving back" isn't compulsory I understand? I give back in other ways but don't claim the PDU's for it. I guess I just add more of the talent triangle PDU's above 8.

What I like is that it reinforces the need for PMs to develop themselves across multiple dimensions and not just technical competency.

What I don't like about the continuing certification requirements program is that they don't have mandatory minimums for other categories such as working in the profession...
