Congrats on your PMP! It depends upon the demand in your job role. If your organization really considers PMPs then they will put you in next level. Saving Changes...
Congrats Juher and welcome to the club. Career options after the PMP rely more on your experience than the certification. If you are a project manager at the moment, then perhaps program management, then portfolio management? Saving Changes...

Congratulations Juher. Unless your current organization has a 'path' for those earning their PMP, you may need to consider looking into new opportunities. There are several companies that have PMP as a requirement or nice to have. That will help surface your resume. Past that, it's of course not solely dependent on the PMP status, experience and a well-crafted resume are equally important.
Congratulations, Juher.
It depends on your current organization, if you think that your current organization recognizes PMP as a promotion criteria than it should be fine. Otherwise you can start looking for openings elsewhere, where you can get an extra benefit. Saving Changes...
What interests you? Project management is one of those careers where we have multiple options for career progression so it is really important to understand what you enjoy doing (as well as what you don't!) and let that drive your career development.
In my case, specialization in risk management and agile was my focus after I achieved my PMP many years ago.

Hi Kiron. .. what options did you consider in the space of risk management. ..PMI- RMP? I am quite interested in risk management in the banking sector. What would you suggest ?

Career development depends on your market place. In general, if you ask me, take a closer look to Business Analysis (PMI-PBA is the certification that belongs to PMI) Saving Changes...

Congratulations Juher. You asked a very good question and got even better answers. Answers that i am adopting. I passed the PMP exam less than 2 weeks ago. This is a whole career shift for me, i was an investment associate, in personal finance and banking.
Thank you for asking this question. Brings a lot of value added answers to the discussion board. Congrats again. Saving Changes...

the focus for me remained project management and as I'd witnessed numerous poor implementations of project risk management I decided to specialize in that. In the financial services industry, there are a number of operational risk management learning options but I haven't strayed into those yet.
