In your experience, can you recommend the best books you have come across in the following categories:
a) OO concepts
b) Distributed Architecture Design (I'm looking for some sort of life-cycle toolit, similar to Ralph Kimball's Data Warehousing toolkit...any ideas?)

The bible that I live by: Doing Objects in Visual Basic 6 - Deborah Kurata

She may have a book out for .NET, but this is a great OO book to understand objects.
