Understood IOT is used in connected cars, many consumer devices, medical devices etc, but still unclear which all areas does it find its use or will find its use in future. For example, will Construction Industry use IOT and if yes, what are the usecases/application scenarios? How about Education Industry?

Saravanan -

IoT could have applications in any industry.

For example, in construction, equipment could have sensors which determine the best time to conduct maintenance which would reduce downtime & unnecessary preventative maintenance costs. Construction parts could even have sensors which would determine if specific quality constraints were being impacted.

Education is a bit more interesting - I can't think of a current use case, but who knows, if kids get "chipped" in the future like a recent episode of Black Mirror presented, I'm sure there could be all kinds of useful data which teachers could crunch!

It's only a matter of time before we are all chipped. I do see some good applications for it in the education industry. And the Corrections industry.
