Does the Poll section need fixing?

Ever tried to look at the most current polls? Sorting by date does not send the most current poll at the top. I think this should be the default. Also, why are closed polls displayed at all? For historical reference maybe, but why not just have a "Closed Poll" section? Finally some questions defy logic, so why were they approved for entry into the Poll list? I know the advice here will be to contact the website administration, but what are your thoughts on the Poll section and how these and other issues can be improved?

Sante we've talked about it, it needs improvement I like to see the poll pop up on home page or community page where you see the two questions, no harm to see the poll at small corner and you can click on it if you want to participate.
Also there should be archive for old poll and only recent poll shows up.

Thanks Sante, for taking this concern to next level

Yes, fix the Polls!

New polls should be coming out in the MOST RECENT section of the webpage similar to blogs and discussions.

Having a dedicated portion of home page could be nice option.

Good question, Sante. I would like it to be more user friendly.
