I'm questioning pretty much the info on putting on the charter is the same info I need for the Sow Saving Changes...

First, take into account that a standard does not exist in the case of these documents (in other you have IEEE standards that you can take as a guide) then you can put on them all you need to achieve the objective to create the document. Second, if you go to the definitions. you can find: project charter objective is formally authorize the existence of a project and provide the project manager with the authority to use the needed resources into project activities. Statement of Work (SOW) describes each procurement item in sufficient detail to allow prospective sellers to determine if they are capable of providing the products, services,or results. Are you referring to a project SoW or a procurement SoW? The former would likely precede the existence of the project and is one of the inputs to a charter whereas the latter will usually be developed long after the charter has been created and approved.
the charter (if it is a true charter!) should be a brief document supporting the existence of the project. Detailed requirements and T's & C's for a specific vendor are what you'd expect to find in a procurement SoW, so while you could trace back from the SoW to content in the charter, each document serves a different purpose.

I concur with my colleagues here.
Charter gives high level information of the project whereas SOW contains information about the work to be done. Saving Changes...
You have the answer form Sergio and Kiron.
Unless your project is done in a single procurement! You would have a SOW for each procurement. Saving Changes...
