Ok,I have written a few times about project questions with no response. I am not sure if i am not asking the right questions or if no one is reading the questions or maybe this is not the right forum for such generic quesitons. Anyway, does anyone know how to create a dangling task filter in MS Project? Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

I think this is the correct forum, but your question is pretty general. You want to create a filter that only shows dangling tasks? Or you want to filter them out? I don't think I understand.

Thank you for responding. I think I found the filter I was looking for. Basically, I was trying to create a filter that would show dangling tasks.

Nancy, would you like to let us know how to create such a filter?

Cheers

I am sure most know how to write this filter. But here it is.

Predecessor equals "blank" or
Successor equals "blank" and Summary equals no.

Hope it helps.
