Hi,

This is going to be pretty lengthy question. In MS Project 2000 I have a schedule that I would like to show with graphical indicators. The problem is I can not seem to write the formula correctly. What I am trying to achieve is the infamous red, yellow, green indicators in project. But, I would like to base the results on the following. (late schedule dates only)

If the start of the task is past baseline start plus 3 days, or if not 100% complete, what value? (red)
If the start of the task is past baseline start plus one week, or if not 100% complete what value? (yellow)
All others will be (green)

Or should I be using the baseline end dates as indicators? Most examples key off of the costs, since we add a limited amount of assignments in the schedule, this way would not be accuarte.

The way I have been doing this is to write the formula in a text field and copy to another text field that have the indicators defined. It works except when I add the second part of the formula.

So far I have customized a flag field but that is for only yes/no.

There has to be an easier way. I am pretty sure you can tell by this question that I have limited knowledge of writing formulas.

Any suggestions would help.
