It is very important because it allows everyone involved to know first hand what the project is about, the different stakeholders are known, the rules of the project are defined and communicated, interested parties can ask about the project and have a better understanding.

Kick off meeting is very important !!! A lot of PMP exam asks related to this topic. The kick off meeting happens after the plan approval and before execution process to ensure stakeholder commitment and understand the project goals as per PMP exam outline!!!! Saving Changes...
