PRINCE2 I am reading about it and found it different from PMP methodologies having less processes and concern, I know it is not famous in North America mostly UK and Europe, I am not sure about Australia.
Any Input regarding this certification would highly be appreciated, As PMP certified can skip foundation and go directly for practitioner it worth to add it. What do you think? Saving Changes...
Hi Riyadh, I would say Prince2 still has a slight edge in Australia, just going by the number of job ads here requiring this certification compared to the PMP. But they are vary comparable. And yes, you can skip the Foundation exam and go straight for the Practitioner exam. Saving Changes...

PRINCE2 is totally different from PMI“s approaches because what you mentioned: it is a method while all related to PMI (PMBOK mainly) is not. In project management there are two different worlds: the Americas (from north to south) follow the PMI way. Europe (mainly west and center) follow PRINCE2. I have used both because the companies where I worked on. Regarding the certification from Axelos if you fullfil the requirements you can take the level you want. In my personal opinion is easy (generally speaking) than PMI“s certifications because here you have a method with inputs and outputs so you have a defined path to do things. Take a look to some PRINCE2 documents and you will see that you will undestand it without problem.

@ Sergio thank you so much for your encouraging feed back and yes it is more easy and to the point only I see that the fees is higher than PMP

I do not know about the fees. In my case, because I am located into Argentina, everything that is in dollar amount or euros is very expensive for me.

I agree with Sergio that PRINCE2 is totally different from PMI. I didn't try yet PMI's certification, but I think PRINCE2 is probably easier. So if you want to do it, I'm sure that after foundation you can continue for practitionner directly. Saving Changes...

Simplifying it a lot: PRINCE2 is mostly a framework for project governance and reporting (it tells you what to do as a project manager, who you report to, who reports to you and what documents you need), while PMP is more a set of methods for performing the project management activities (it tells you how to create the documents you need).
There is also PMQ (Project Management Qualification) from APM which covers both these areas, as does Praxis.
There is overlap between PRINCE2 and PMP, but there is sufficient difference that it is worth doing both if you want to maximise your knowledge and employability, however, if you aren't going to be working outside of America then there is no need for PRINCE2 qualification.
In my experience PRINCE2 is by far the easier of the two to pass. Saving Changes...
@Stephen thank you for your valued feed back long time ago I took PMQ but it was of less value actually I found the PMP is the most important & recognised Saving Changes...
I want to correct my opinion about PRINCE2 and PMI's certification because it was miss understanding. I mean that PRINCE2 exams (not the work) are probably easier than PMI exams. It concerns only foundation and practitionner. It's my own opinion. Saving Changes...
PRINCE2 will be of value if the industry and location you work in recognizes it and the company you work for or are targeting has adopted that methodology with the accompany nomenclature.
Otherwise, it's just one more credential...

@Kiron,
I guess it is well good knowledge even if the current company not using it as you mentioned more credentials and one day it might pays off to have that as well.
Some of the credentials I found they don't make big difference on the job search or they don't really increase your salary but they are still good challenge for self actualization. Do you agree?
