Congrats on earning your CAPM certification. Now from the recruiters point of view it does show that you have dedication to a career in project management, which is very important. I would suggest you to look for entry level positions, or work with your current employer and see whether you can be part of the project team. All the very best to you. Saving Changes...
Have you joined your local PMI chapter and started network actively with local members? Also, a common entry route to a PM role is as a Project Controller/Administrator/Control Officer so you might want to look for those types of roles...

Congrats on earning your CAPM.
As Kiron mentioned, you need to start by registering with your local chapter. Having a CAPM or even a PMP is not a guarantee for a job but Id rather say they are an asset so my advise is just keep looking and applying until you land on something. Saving Changes...
Great stuff, look for project roles such as project coordinator or project associate etc, that would be looking for people with the same skills sets as taught in the CAPM program. You would need a little experience also to get a better chance of landing the job you want. Saving Changes...

That's great, Iashara. Congratulations.
Help us out by sharing a little bit more of your story. What have you done so far to find work? What are you doing now and what is your experience?
Looking at your local Chapter is a good start, LinkedIn, and/or volunteering. How strong is your resume? There are many variables that go into finding a new job/opportunity/career. Saving Changes...
Congratulations! There are many good advices above my comment, I highly recommend to use them. I have a few more additions. Your certificate will justify your dedication and motivation in project management. Definetely use it. You are ahead of many project management candidates at entry level in this case. The recruiters may not know what CAPM is, mostly PMP is widely known among those who are not specialized in project management. You may include what CAPM stands for in your resume and mention certification institution is PMI. In your interviews explain what CAPM is when needed. I wish you good luck.

Exactly Sinem, I faced the same situation when I completed my CAPM.
The recruiters are aware of PMP and not CAPM. I explained what a CAPM is to them
and told them I was working for PMP certification as well...
Certifications like CAMP and PMP just a qualification qualify you for more positions. To get a job, you need to work on your soft skills, tech skills, network, etc. Saving Changes...
