Are you a project manager reporting solid or dotted line to a PMO in
the New York area?
If so, I'd like to invite you to attend a free lunch meeting to be
held on April 20th from 12-2PM in midtown Manhattan.
The purpose of the meeting is to get your feedback and reactions to
the findings from a series of interviews with 20 PMO leaders from a
variety of large, well-known organizations. This study, being
conducted as part of a doctoral dissertation at Columbia University,
is focused on how PMOs contribute to identifying and transfering
lessons learned from one project to the next.
This will be a great opportunity to both network with peers and learn
about PMO practices from a variety of organizations.
At the session, I will present the findings of the study to date and
conduct a facilitated discussion to get your reactions to the 20 PMO
leader interviews already conducted. You will also receive a copy of
the findings, which may be useful in your ongoing project management
practice.
In order to qualify for participation, you will have been reporting
to a PMO either solid line or dotted line for at least three months.
If you are interested in participating and meet these criteria,
please send me an email at [email protected]
This will be a 2 hour lunch session in mid-town, making it accessible
and convenient for those working in the area.
Space is limited to 6 people on a first-come, first-served basis, so
let me know if you can make it!
