Hello all,
As everyone knows, we need to earn PDU's for the PMP. I was wondering if there was a way to claim any from reading any of the articles here or even from badges?
I know you could from webinars.

Anyone has any ideas?

@Riyadh: Check the CCRS guide. If you write a blog related to project management or participate in a structured discussion that is related to project mangement like the ones here, you can claim those as PDU’s. That’s what I know.

Indeed - Like someone like Kiron, you and other active members here can claim some PDU's for writing all those blogs and participating in discussions.

Thank you Rami for information, even I never knew that participation in discussion can earn you PDUs.

Just claimed PDU's for the blog articles and it said it was part of "giving back", so even though I wasn't looking for that, I guess it does classify as that.

Great, good luck guys. They are subject to approval from PMI but normally 0.25, 0.5 or even 1 hour are immediately approved. Cheers !

Najam, not all discussions. Only structured discussions, in that sense.

Hello All,
Just wondering if only members registered with PMI has access to the webinars to attain PDUs. Is a non registered member entitled to PDUs after a webinar?

Yes,you could claim those manually. Go to your CCSR, under education and claim those provided they are related ti project management. You can even claim blogging, structured discussions, etc.
Rami,

Interesting, I never did report them, in the last few cycles I had more PDUs then needed. I could start to report those too.

We have so many way to cumulate PDUS ; Volunteer work, practice, webinars, giving back, online event, in person conferences and books.

I somehow never reported discussions too as I had probably triple the amount of PDU's compared to what is actually required. You are right, we have so many PDU's :-)
