Hello all,
As everyone knows, we need to earn PDU's for the PMP. I was wondering if there was a way to claim any from reading any of the articles here or even from badges?
I know you could from webinars.

Anyone has any ideas?

Yes, you can claim PDU's for reading books or articles relevant to your certification.

You can get more information from the CCR handbook, page 12.

As per the CCR Handbook (https://www.pmi.org/-/media/pmi/documents/...-handbook.pdf), reading articles is eligible for PDUs (one PDU per hour of reading), but to substantiate your claim in case it gets challenged, you will need to collect evidence supporting your reported learning, including notes from and dates of reading.

Badges are earned on projectmanagement.com for a variety of different activities and not all would be eligible. For example, the effort spent in writing a blog article or in developing content for a webinar and then presenting it is eligible, and this in turn might earn you a badge. On the other hand, earning a badge for hitting a threshold number of connections would not be.

If you are in doubt on a potential grey area, it's always best to contact PMI's customer care center.

If you have membership at PMI, you can claim articles, webinars, all sorts of things even on this website by going to:

Yes,you could claim those manually. Go to your CCSR, under education and claim those provided they are related ti project management. You can even claim blogging, structured discussions, etc.

Rami,

Interesting, I never did report them, in the last few cycles I had more PDUs then needed. I could start to report those too.

We have so many way to cumulate PDUS ; Volunteer work, practice, webinars, giving back, online event, in person conferences and books.

Yes. Under Education you can select from either (1) Online or Digital Media, (2) Self-directed Reading, or (3) Informal Learning.

Make sure to take notes on the information consumed (and record the date on your notes) - you could be asked to provide these to confirm these activities.

I have always found it useful to upload these notes to cloud storage and share the URL when submitting the PDU request.
