1. Emails: You can’t afford to let some crucial piece of information slip through the cracks.
2. Calls: There are going to be calls you need to take and others you’ll need to make to
stay in contact with various stakeholders on the project team.
3. Meetings: Meetings to address or to invite stakeholders and sponsors.
4. What is going on the project progress: You’re always going to want to get this bird’s-eye
view of the project’s progress, and this is your one-stop shop for all those important
metrics.
5. Daily Project Status: One metric that is super-important is the project status, and noting
where you are compared to where you planned to be now.
6. Team: Checking on their needs, progress, obstacles and challenges.
7. Encouraging the team: This is important task
8. Issues/Risks: You’re going to have one eye constantly focused on That.
9 Timesheets: By keeping daily timesheets
10. Daily Checklist: This is an important one for me for my time management.

Kevin,

I'm glad to see that you have Issues/risk for the 8th element.

Some don't put it in the list! You have to wonder.

I usually make a to do list the night before, it keeps me focused on important things or else the routine work takes over. E-mails are the first thing in the morning followed by updating my master task list and review of project status, meetings, coordination, resolving issues and so on.
