My company has recetly merged. We are now a global company with regions across the globe. I am looking for some best practices on managing virtual teams on a global scale.

Dear Diana , as Bethany mentions there are several very good articles and templates that you can access right here on Gantthead. I would also recommend that you have a look at Processes On Demand by BOT International. It is a customizable best practice for PMOs and we implemented it for our PMO over a year ago primarily to establish our best practices (processes, templates, dashboards) and to better manage our "virtual" teams.
