Will your last job in life be in the project management domain?

Actually I think probably not. Loving the job, and then wanting to do it right up until the end is another thing. The job is a lot more stressful than many other choices, and stress and age don't mix together too well for the old ticker.

You have a lot more time than most of us to think about that Krysha. It's probably not even something you should think about. Maybe sometime mid-century :-)

Project management is nice as it makes you feel in charge of things, and I expect to be in it till the end. However, I don't expect to remain stagnant in the same position for long. If I climb up the ladder, there will be some young energetic fellows below me who will deal with the stressful works and gain from my experience. Hope to become an employer very soon.

That's a good option also; remain in project management but take the less stressful tasks, and there's so many of them.

Absolutely, as a business solutions expert and a project management consultant because experts never retire, they mature never mind how old they are.
