Lately, I was wondering if I shall go for PBA or ACP and I found that if I don't use my experience (up to 8 years) in BA it will expire. Therefore I think it is wise to capitalise on it and get it done...
Please, I need all your tips for PMI-PBA

I think the exam is changing around March 28, better for you to do it before change. cause it will take more than six month to settle later on.

I'm not sure the whole 8 years experience will expire, don't they mean you need to draw from your experience in the last 8 years? And even so, look at your own role. You may be surprised there is BA elements in that role. I would have thought creating a curriculum involves business analysis for the University, who sells its courses to students either through fees or government subsidies.

I would agree with Sante. Not sure that anyone considers experience has an expiry date or a best before date :D

Both certifications are solid but it all depends on ehat you currently do and which one will add the most value. I am planning to take both but when, I don’t know.

Now I am leaning towards Program Management as ai have been managing programs too for quite a while now.

I had extensive working experience in BA between 2011 and 2013 which will make most of the required hours, and yes after that many hours can be collected from different projects.

I did the BA exam a year ago. The best tip I can give is to use exam simulator a lot and also self learning on various methods that are typicaly only briefly mentioned in the trainings or BA handbook, such as methods for prioritization or requirements. The exam itself was much more technically oriented than I expected. It also incorporates agile approach nd some of the principles.
Using common sense and good understanding of a question is essential. But I would say that is true for any of the PMI exams:)
Good luck!
