Where should 30 day review/eval fall?

At the end of our developing our product (toward the end of a project), we have a 30 day review period, in which the system is monitored, etc. Where in the 5 process groups should this fall? (i.e. execution or closing)

In our organization we would call that a post deployment and go live phase. The closing phase follows that. This was our comapny decision to monitor the product for any issues for a set period of time and then get the sign off from major stake holders to close the project.

That's the kind of thing we are using it for. It is to monitor the product for any issues that may creep in. Recently, there has been some debate as to where this "task" falls in the process, and if that should be included as part of the baseline scheduling. Your answer helps me a lot. Are there any kind of documents provided by PMI or gantthead that goes into this a little more?

I wouldn't consider that as part of a baseline process. Once the product is stabilized, then it's better to move the project to a baseline mode. Glad to be of any help. I can recollect PMBOK book describing the various phases in detail although it wasn't entirely focused on the IT industry.

why don't you search in gantthead? On top of my head, I don't remember seeing anything recently in the forums.
