No, I haven't, not yet.
I'm new to the site and haven't yet found the correct link.
This is a school assignment at the graduate level and our Professor recommend this site, PMI, and others
and review comment on their approach to developing a WBS.
He highly recommends and PMI certifications for us to continue as well as finding user groups in our area.

I will search the templates and see what I can find.
Thank you for your help ad I would like to continue hearing from you.

Hey Riyadh, ok there are many good authors here on the site, but the one I pay closest attention to for PMO related topics is Laura Barnard and her blog on this site can be located below:

Assuming you are looking for a generic WBS starter for a project, check out the templates section, or Google. The one below is linked from the template section here.

Please let me say that it has no sense. It will depends on the life cycle you take. For example, if you want to create a WBS, take the PMI´s Practice Guide for Requirements Management or take the IIBA´s BABOK and make a copy of process-activities-roles and you will have a WBS for requirments.

Sergio -

Using PMI's Practice Guide for Requirements Management is a great idea!

Thank you!

This will be driven by a couple of factors:

1. What delivery lifecycle is being proposed - adaptive or deterministic?
2. What deliverables are expected to be produced - a BRD/SRS or a living requirements repository?

Hello Mr. Bondale,
This would be a deterministic lifecycle.

I haven't looked at any templates yet.
I'm new to the site and haven't yet found the correct links.

He highly recommends and PMI certifications for us to continue as well as finding user groups in our area.

I need to find or develop a WBS and provide feedback.
I welcome your comments and help.

PMI's practice standard for WBS's (https://www.pmi.org/pmbok-guide-standards/...es-2nd-edition) has a couple of technology related examples, but the level of detail is fairly high. If you are a PMI member, you can download a free soft copy to review...

Kiron, that link doesn't appear to work. I went to the where the guide is located also and couldn't find a "download" option. Did I skip something?
