My perspective here is quite different. A professional certification ought to be leverageable for greater access to more advanced roles. Additionally, there ought to be an easily adoptable induction/training method for new PMs that can I feel the need to impute a methodology in the field that creates affinity groups that enable and empower movement - especially towards leadership - for practitioners in the field. New PM mentorship, career coaching and guidance, helping fellow PMs find opportunities and generating opportunities for PMs are all items that are significant deficits at the chapter level and from a national perspective.
