remember that the PMP tests your awareness of the PMBOK and NOT the PMBOK Guide. When exam items are being written by PMI volunteers they usually have access to 30+ textbooks, only one of which is the PMBOK Guide...

Take a look by searching about each thing is named into the PMBOK as tool and technique with no further explanation. where? as @Kiron stated inside the book avaiblables on line for PMI members into the PMI site. Unfortunately one source for studying is not enough. I studied from two books, the PMBOK and Rita Mukcahy’s Book (A lot of things in this book, were either not available in the PMBOK or mentioned nriefly).
At the end, during the exam, your solid experience is what will make s difference.
To pass the PMP exam, you must know PMBOK and have some experience in the field. Those questions usually refer to your experience. To get those information, you need to study different resources even those they might not be directly related to project management. However, the number of these questions are not as many as required to fail you in the exam. Saving Changes...
