Hello All,
I would like to know if you are using data analytics to make better decisions in your day to day project management practice. If yes, could you please explain how.

Hi, The simple answer is Yes.
We have developed an analytics solution to create dashboards which can be used by the top management (CXO) till to the Project Manager of each project. It is really useful for the senior management to take quick decisions.
What are you looking for in such solutions.

PM's use data analytics daily even when they don't know it. It's just taking data and through the analysis, sorting, synthesis and dissemination into useful information (knowledge), we can make better decision making. Saving Changes...

Hi Saurabh, this is a very interesting topic and question these days the buzz word around the corner has become "Agile" and every one is talking about it w.r.t. the 4 Agile Manifestos and the 12 principles underlying. And if you notice the 1st principle which says "Our Highest Priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software" and when we say the key word "CONTINUOUS DELIVERY" it reminds us of the Agile and Scaled Agile DevOps where in we have the CI and CD pipeline. And w.r.t. Data Analytics for the Project Management w.r.t. PPM(Projects and Portfolio Management) we need to know the prioritization of the projects some suddenly come as scope creep which in services industry you call as CRs for the exisiting and we need to accomodate these kind of things and when doing we need to know the list of juggling of the projects. And yes Data Analytics do play a very piovtal role esp when handling the projects which have three parts - Data collection, Cleansing and Analysis when Analysis is made that is where the judgement call is made and what is the decision we are going to make and idea gets rolled out then the business case and then the project charter and the rest is history and known things from the moment project charter is made Project Manager is identified all the basic elements like Contract mode, Assumptions, Constraints, existing issues etc... so the three parts for the Data Analysis in a polished and professional manner to say is the key word "Democratization" i.e., Data collection, Cleansing and Analysis this is first part and then projects are made and project management. Feel free if you need further more clarification happy to help and guide you :-) Saving Changes...
