When working with project teams, it is important to get them together socially regularly - maybe once a week or every other week. I have found this reduces conflicts and increases collaboration. I have done this through taking a group out to lunch, getting together for dinner or meeting after work to have a drink. Taking time to lunch with project team, in the lunch room is one approach I like. A great context to exchange in a less formal way, nice information come out of that. Give chance to every one to know a bit more on other project team members.
