I agree with Sante, meetings without the presence of key stakeholders is just useless.

Uncorporating project sponsor who have less clue of the expected outcome and the processes to achieve project success
Thanks Adam, dealing with stakeholders can either by fantastic or extremely frustrating, or both at the same time.

What about untimebox meeting? meeting where less important or lower priority point take more time than critical or key points.
Information that is circulated to all, without minimal clarity, Who, Why When type of information.
Thanks Vincent, meeting agendas and rules are important for best value.

I'm with Sante on meetings, we take minutes and often waste hours.
Thanks Robin, yes it's also the time leading up to and just following bad meetings (ie. travel) that is also a waste of time.

Meetings for the sake of having meetings
Thanks Dinah, there was one project that went for over a year, and I swear at least half the day was meetings, because it was so stakeholder/heavy.

Meetings, Mails, improper documentation in real life projects-- these are main causes that drives me crazy personally.
At the same time, these are the things which guide you thru' crunch time.
One meeting, mail or a single document will put light on your doubts, confusion and then you have clear picture how to proceed further.
It depends on the contents of meeting, mail or document whether they help you make decision or more of them required to clear the picture.
Great points Dhawal, thanks.
