As March comes to an end, I look forward to wrapping the planning on my biggest project yet.
Good Luck Stephane. I assume you are referring to the Retirement Project.

Actually no, Rami. I came out of retirement to help out on a great opportunity. It's off to Florida for April, then back to project execution in May.

First I completed PDU's for the current PMI certification cycle, and recertified.
(Jan 2018 to Jan 2021)

Then completed PDU's for next PMI certification cycle, and recertified.
(Jan 2021 to Jan 2024)

So I'm good on PDU's for a bit... :)

It looks like you're very good in terms of PDU's :-)

I am just confused about something. Hoe did you manage to renew till 2024. I know that you can renew the until 2021 and in the last year you can gather 20 PDU's for the next cycle but to renew two cycle in a row this is news to me so can you ellaborate . Thanks John.

Thinking about some agile certification next (ACP, Scrum, etc.)

Also thinking about ITIL and Six Sigma.

Yes it sounds very confusing at first... :)

Once I was in my now "current" certification cycle, I was able to start accumulating PDU's for my next certification. Normally I think people would spread these over the next three years, and wait until the last month to submit the new cycle certification.

But... Apparently there is nothing to stop you from starting this process early in a current cycle, not waiting until the last month or two.

While I was already on a roll, with webinars, etc, I continued. And when I had accumulated another 60 PDU's (I didn't wait for my 8 PDU's for work experience), the button became available to recertify. So I went ahead with recertification. It's just very early in this current cycle that I did it.

The 20 PDU's in the last year, are actually to carry over for the _next_ cycle yet. So in 2020, I could work on 20 PDU's as a head start towards the 60 I need to accumulate in 2021-2024. Which would be to get a certification for 2024-2027.

Then if I was really ambitious, I could get 40 PDU's in Feb 2021 to finish out the 60. And viola, I would be able to certify 2024-2027.
